update

Well, it not a blood clot. Thank the goddess for that!

Of course, we still don't know what's going on.

She has a fracture clinic appointment next week. my ex and I are both going with her. There's strength in numbers.

We're going to get to the bottom of this.

For those of you who commented and gave us both your support and kind words, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are all amazing people!

Good! Glad to hear that. But yes, keep pushing, demanding answers and let them know, "takes time" is not good enough. There is obviuosly something wrong.

...and you are an amazing, worthy Friend, Cam.

We shall continue to send positive energy to you until she is totally in the clear.

Thank you, Almighty, that this wasn't a clot.

I know you will keep us updated. Be strong. All will be well.

That is good news that it is not a blood clot.

Keep pushing and ask about an infection, demand the blood work to check for one if they have not done so.

oh, honey - I've had some doozies in my day as well. Good for her that you and the ex are going to the next appt. I dunno why so many authority figures have this disease. You know what They say, send a sexist (ageist) to medical school, you get a sexist (ageist) doctor...

Keep pushing. She needs intervention with these asses, apparently. Just keep pushing. Til you find an actual Caregiver. Our thoughts are with you.

I am just....stunned to hear that she was sent HOME with a possible blood clot. That is just...unprofessional and good hell, if anything had happened, they were just begging for a lawsuit. One of the first lessons you learn in med school is not EVER to ignore a possible blood clot.

I've been remiss - I try to respond to every comment but this week has been so busy with work and family stuff that I'm falling behind. To all of you who commented and left your support -thank you.

As I mentioned, we're not going to let them brush our concerns aside again - we deserve answers, we are going to get answers. I want my daughter to be whole and healthy again, and if I have to camp on my doctor's doorstep until something is done, then that's what I will do.
